"Hey... Sleeping beauty..."
Apparently, classes have already ended and Karl had fallen asleep. The class has already disbanded and the teacher had left the classroom. Karl would have gone on in his state of unconciousness if not for some "minor disturbances".
"Hey..." a voice echoed in Karl's ear.
"Ah... ha... ...?" Karl lifter his head half-heartedly and then let it droop back onto the table again, ignoring the voice.
"Ah ha no. Come on... You're not pretty nor a beauty anyway... so stop sleeping." the voice continued although Karl is still ignoring it, "hmm... unless... you ... want me to..."
"Ha... ?" Karl slowly opened his eye drowsily and found a shadowy figure hovering above him. He didnt realise it was slowly getting closer and closer to him. When he finally realised what was going on, the figure had already gotten so close that its face was directly infront of his.
It was Aries. "What...?" Karl backed off a little still unconcious of what was going on. Aries' eyes was closed. " Wh...Wha... ?!" He finally awakened. She got closer and closer...until it practically made him so tense and unable to breath "...wha....?!"
At last, Karl could not take this any longer, "Wha... What are you doing?!" This time his face turned completely red. He jerked her away from him startled. Karl's heart practically skipped a beat. It could be the reason he pushed her away. Well, what would you expect from a hot-blooded growing boy in his teens?
Creak. Oh dear.
Apparently, the impact from the jerk tipped his chair... and sort of brought it off balanced... and... lets see... Lets do it in slow motion...

There you go. It crashed. Well, Karl was able to spring back up immediately though, to give a classic "Ouch!".
"Serves you right for being so clumsy, hehe. " Aries giggled. " Oh there's something you might want to know..." , a dangerous smile surfaced, "...Heheh... I saw whats under those pants of yours when you topple upside-down..." She made a grin and continued, "...Superman's. Except hidden." Grin widened.
Karl's face had undoubtedly turned bright red this time. Is she really a girl?! "What?!" Karl clenched his fists in frustration (and in embarrassment) as he yelled. It wasnt the first time he got teased by a girl... but... This girl had calibre, or just total opposite of Karl. "It was your fault anyway, What do you think you were doing? Getting...err... so close to me?" Some more blood shot up.
"Just trying to wake you up..." the girl replied in a tone which got to his nerves. "You were the sleeping beauty, and I'm the handsome prince." Aries did an 'I'm handsome' classic no.7 pose.
"What...?!" Karl partly sighed partly gasped. He's so convinced she's not female. "Now look, do that again and you'll get it from me."
"Hmm... Get what?" Aries teased. "You wanted "it" really badly don't you?" she smirked, gazing at the wide-mouthed Karl with amusement.
"Ah well, while you were asleep..." Aries seemed to be satisfied with the teasing, "... the teacher asked us to collect our hostel keys from the student affairs office during breaktime, which is now. Its ready for collection. So if you want a place to sleep, get going. As for me... I'm heading there now. See ya!"
Karl plopped down in his seat still wide-mouthed, watching Aries as she skipped and sprang out of the room cheerfully.
The day's activities have already ended and what's after breaktime is touring of the school. Karl, however, did not seem excited. He had gotten his keys and checked into his room. First years are not allowed single rooms and so Karl was allocated a double room. But when he got inside, nobody was there. Had he gotten in earlier than his room-mate? He put down his baggage and smoothen out the bed before sitting down on it. It was a double level bed. It could sound dumb, but Karl thought that it would be more 'cool' to choose the bottom level, and so he did... Well, it could be an excuse for his fear of heights. It wasn't much of a height though, but still, he prefered to be below.
Knock knock. Someone was at the door. The other room-mate? He could have just opened the door with his key. Karl stood up and walked to the door. And when he's about to reach for the handle...
Bang. "Oops sorry!" It was Aries at the door. Karl had sort of forgotten he had not locked the door after he came in.
"Ouch..." It was Karl's unlucky day. "Aries, what are you doing here?" Karl squinted his eyes in pain, still feeling blur and unsteady after the hit.
"Hmm... Im your... room-mate... ..." Aries said as she eyed the surprised Karl. "...heheh... just kidding!" Karl's face changed from the 'surprised' look to the 'What the hell was that?' look.
"You're so slow! You know, I've already checked into my room and greeted my room-mate and after that greeted all of my neighbours, had some tea and snacks for break and then made the trouble of asking around finding out where you were staying and found out you were staying here and..."
"Alright thats enough. What do you want?" Karl stopped Aries who apparently would continue rambling if he hadnt stopped her.
"Oh! I came to get you of course!" Aries said enthusiastically. "Lets tour the school!" She yelled excitedly while reaching to grab Karl (who couldnt think of any other reaction except to dodge) who didnt manage to dodge in time... and so... got dragged away by Aries again...
